February 1st! just now, i thought it is the 30th. entering the 2nd mnth of the 2nd sem. i'm starting to feel the pressure. 4 novels to read in 6 months. ielts. rube goldberg. calculus (didn't do well in the 1st quiz). you see, too many to think about. i'm not in the same situation as last yr. i'm lost and i'm missing something. that's a downside. can i cope this sem? MAYBE. i started to learn swimming last week. so far, i've been doing well i guess. i brought my bro's guitar to casa. so now i have time to practice! =D i just found out it is very different between using ur fingers and a guitar pick. i still don't know how to strum properly. currently, practicing "your call", "wonderwall" (got the chords right, but i can't strum), harry potter theme, and "come as you are". once i got all of them just right, i'm planning on doing the pirates of the caribbean theme hohoho =D uhhh that's all. just a random update. i'm bored.

PS: - ever felt when people just disappear? get it? DISAPPEAR. without any reason. no signs.

PS: The pieces of my broken heart are so small that they could be passed through the eye of a needle. I miss you like the sun misses the flower; like the sun misses the flower in the depths of winter. Instead of beauty to direct its light to, the heart hardens like the frozen world your absence has banished me to. Hope guides me, it is what gets me through the day and especially the night. UBC!!!

I think I have decide on my top 3 universities. UBC, UoT and UoA. Well I dun have enough information on UBC yet. But as far as I know now, every universities in Canada is basically different in terms of their engineering program. UoT is pretty flexible. I can choose between 3 programs. But if I want to take biomed eng then only 2 of them are available for me. Either I'll take a major in biomed eng through engineering science program. or just a minor through just engineering program. obviously, eng science is more difficult. gotta have an average of at least high 80 or low 90. And in eng sc, students have 6 credits. compared to eng, we'll have only 5. another difference, I can study biomed 1 yr early through eng sc...hmmm hmmm...UoA is simpler. 1st year, all engineering students are going through the same courses until their 2nd yr. we'll have to choose our profession bla3 which is biomed eng for me. Calgary is pretty similar to UoA. but it wasn't in my list of universities before and I'm still considering...anybody has knowledge about the engineering programs in UBC, pls inform me. thx
